FAQ

We get it, you're a little bit hesitant to come to a wedding that's at a Summer Camp. But, it's going to be SO MUCH FUN!

For questions not answered below, please contact us.

1. What time can I arrive on Friday?
Anytime after 3pm!

You'll be greeted by a parking attendant and then you can head straight to the 'Tuck Shop' for your welcome package.

2. Can I just come for the day on Saturday? Do I still need to pay?
Yep! No problem. Just send us a quick note letting us know that you'll only be attending for the day. We don't need you to pay if you're only coming for the ceremony + reception (Saturday ~4pm) and leaving that same evening.

3. Can I bring my kids?
We're hosting an adult summer camp weekend and sadly don't have space for all of the kids this time. Breastfeeding babies are welcome!

(*if you will have a newborn, we will try to secure you a private cabin)

4. Is there an option to stay at a hotel?
Yes. There's lots of accommodation in Bracebridge or nearby towns.
However, camp accommodation is the most affordable and will keep your stress levels at an all time low (no driving or taxi rides necessary!).
If you'll be staying off site, please let us know and we can provide recommendations.

5. I have an RV - can I sleep in it?

Yes! Bring it. Although there won't be power. You'll have access to the washrooms and showers but can sleep in your RV for privacy.

6. Can I pitch a tent?

Of course! If you prefer to sleep privately in your own tent, that works! There are also a select number of 'upgraded tents' that we can use from the camp. They are big, already set up, and would be a lot of fun. Let us know if you want to reserve one.

7. Do I need to bring my own bedding?

Yes! All cabins have single bunk beds (everyone gets a bottom bunk) that you need to bring a fitted sheet (twin size) + pillow + sleeping bag or bedding for. Cabins are heated and cooled depending on weather.

8. If I'm staying off-site, can I still do the activities and eat all meals with you?

Yes! We still ask that you pay the $150 to cover food and facilities.

9. Do I need to BYOB?

Bring your alcohol or juice of choice for Friday night (cans/plastic only, please). Also, if you like day drinking on Saturday, go for it.
*we will provide red dixie cups, but feel free to bring a lidded-mug for easy portability

Why does it cost $150 per person?

This will cover the cost of 5 meals and snacks, drinks and the full camp experience that we have curated for you! We figure, it's cheaper than 1 nights hotel stay for a destination wedding.

What should I wear all weekend?
Keep it casual and comfy: leggings, jeans, bathing suits, warm sweaters (if it is cold), and whatever you are most comfortable wearing outdoors. Please pay attention to the forecast.

What should I wear to the wedding?
Semi-formal at the wedding (dresses, suits, but no heels since you'll be walking outdoors!)

What if the weather isn’t great?
Don't worry! We've got backup rain plans. All accommodation is heated and air-conditioned. Please pay attention to the forecast.

What are the sleeping arrangements & will I be sharing a room?
There are 10+ beautiful cabins where guests will sleep (photos attached). There will be approximately 10 people per cabin, so you will be sharing rooms. Once we get RSVP's we will curate cabins to place you with family and friends, or whoever you request. There will be some private rooms (reserved for people who need them) and we will do our best to make sure you feel happy with your sleeping arrangements.

Are the sleeping arrangements heated / air-conditioned?
Yes.

Do I need to bring food?
No.

Will the food accommodate my dietary restrictions?
Yes! We can accommodate Vegan / Gluten Free / Dairy Free. Let us know.

What will I do all weekend?
It will go by quickly! We have a campfire planned for Friday as well as some live tunes, there are lots of activities on Saturday (but you can also just sit on the dock and relax) + the wedding ceremony and reception, and more! There will be a farewell brunch on Sunday and that's it!

Is there a band?
Yes, and we can't wait to have them play all weekend long.
