Kelsey and Stephen attended Eldorado High School and graduated together in 2016. During those years they knew each other but nothing more than passing each other in the hallway. Fast forward to January of 2023. Stephen saw Kelsey walking through a crowd of people waiting to start a half marathon in Tempe, Arizona. Stephen decided to say hello quickly before the ran began. After the race, they ran into each other again and talked a bit longer. They continued to chat in the weeks to follow and went on their first date in Dallas in February. That week Stephen also accepted a job offer in Fort Worth.

Stephen finally moved to Dallas in the spring and their relationship began to grow. Summer dates looked like pool days, walks around White Rock Lake and Stephen turning Kelsey into a baseball fan.

The fall was busy with travel to see friends and family. First up was a trip to Tempe to hear about Stephen's good ole days at ASU

Next up was a trip to Waco to watch the Baylor bears continue their rough season on the football field.

Stephen's work to make Kelsey a baseball fan lead to quite a rivalry experiencce when Stephen's beloved Diamondbacks made it to the World Series against the Rangers.

Made it home for the holidays! They both knew this was the person they wanted to spend forever with, and while at home for Christmas Stephen began to look for a ring.

The two got engaged on March 9th on a grassy hill overlooking White Rock Lake where they had gone on an evening walk together nearly a year prior. Kelsey and Stephen are beyond excited for the rest of the story to unfold and can't wait to see what is next!
