On June 2, 2020, Kelsey was in her apartment scrolling on instagram when she came upon a story warning people of possible riots and roads being shut down. That story was uploaded by none other than, Jack Restivo. Kelsey quickly messaged Jack asking if she should be worried since the riots were creeping into neighborhoods close to hers. Jack told her she had nothing to worry about, but if she needed help, he would be there right away *swoon*.

The two exchanged numbers and quickly began texting every possible moment. The next day, Kelsey asked Jack if she could facetime him - and after much deliberation, Jack finally answered the phone. The two talked over facetime for hours, until Jack's phone died. As the two of them got off the phone, they both had a moment of realization that they wanted to keep talking (even though they had talked for about 6 hours straight).

On June 5th, they went on their first date - takeout sushi and sitting on Jack's backyard patio. Not wanting the night to end, Jack brought Kelsey to his parents pool where they talked and laughed the night away until 2am. A few days later on June 10th, Jack asked Kelsey to be his girlfriend and the two have been inseparable ever since.

After various trips to New Hampshire, Cape Cod, Vermont and so many others, the most special trip happened on November 6, 2022. Jack and Kelsey packed up the Jeep, bundled up and headed for East Beach - one of their favorite beaches in Little Rhody. While Kelsey was sitting in her beach chair with a book and a blanket (if you know, you know) Jack was secretly burying his proposal speech in a glass bottle into the sand. After a few minutes sitting in the freezing cold, Kelsey was ready to leave but Jack convinced her to search for seashells (one of their favorite beach activities). Jack took a shovel, dug it into the ground and hit something. Unknowingly, Kelsey was shocked they had found a message in a bottle. As Jack started reading the message, it clicked and Kelsey realized that at that very moment, she was getting her happily ever after. Jack got down on one knee and asked Kelsey to spend forever with him as man and wife.

Now as the two of them are preparing for their wedding day with a daily countdown and a continuous stream of laughter as they realize their forever has already begun.
