Our Wedding

Our story began on Hinge in January of 2022 - modern romance at its finest. On our first date sharing drinks at the Sporting Club in Boston, we realized that we were both at Chris Woods 2017 Southie Christmas party (Oh what could have been).

We instantly clicked and would joke about how comfortable we were with each other from the start. “Love Story” by Taylor Swift seemed to keep coming on at the bars and restaurants during our first few weeks of dating - most definitely a sign or a sneaky, suave move by Andy. Andy asked me to be his girlfriend after I won the Guinness game at Mr. Dooley’s (if you’ve never played you’re missing out).

Our love continued to grow - sharing countless memories with friends & family and traveling to places together like Park City, Fort Lauderdale, and Kiawah. Andy and I moved in together in Charlestown during the fall of 2023. He proposed in City Park in Charlestown a year later. We still can’t stop saying “That was the best day of our lives”.

Andy and I could not be more thankful to be celebrating with all of our favorite people in our favorite city where our love began. We share an unconditional love for each other, this city, and for all of you. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all and make this the new “Best day of our lives”.

There is lots of shopping in Back Bay from the Prudential Center to Newbury Street. There are also a number of outdoor spots that are fun to explore including the Viewing Deck at the top of the Prudential Center, the Boston Commons, and the Charles River. All are within close walking distance from the Colonnade!

If you’re looking to grab brunch before the ceremony, there are a number of brunch spots close to the venue. Joe’s on Newbury is fairly priced and a great location. Other great spots include the Friendly Toast, Earl’s in the Prudential, and Greystone Cafe, which is in the South End (the neighborhood over). Pressed Cafe is also right across the street from the Colonnade and has great options!
