They always say you find someone when you least expect it, and I don’t think we expected to find each other at a dental office in Indiana, PA or on Bumble - but that's where our story begins and we wouldn’t change a single thing! Kelsey had been a patient of EMFD (where Marco works as a dentist) for several years and in early 2022 had a few chance encounters with Marco. Kelsey's mom, Dana, was going in for a haircut with her hairdresser Maggi, who happens to be the sister-in-law of one of Marco's hygienists, Holly. Earlier that day, Maggi had been talking to her sister-in-law, who had mentioned that they were looking to do some matchmaking for 'Dr. P.' Maggi, having known Kelsey for over 20 years, said she might have someone in mind. Kelsey brushed this off and then a few weeks later was getting a cleaning herself, and her hygienist (a different one, Lacey!) mentioned that Dr. P was single and that her and some of the girls were trying to set him up.


A day later, Kelsey and Marco matched on Bumble, and Kelsey took this as a sign that they were meant to meet. Their first date was at Brunzies which has turned out to be one of their favorite local spots. Marco had fried pickles (Kelsey's favorite) waiting for them and a bouquet of flowers in the car. After several hours together, Kelsey called her mom on the way home and said “I think this might have been my last first date” - and the two have been together ever since!


Later that year, they moved in together and have enjoyed spending life’s little and big moments side by side. When you know, you know!
