Kam and I first met while we were both volunteering at a Concord United Methodist Church vacation bible school in the summer of 2013. I came outside one day with my group of fifth grade girls to do our "Oikos Time" to find Kam napping in our spot. After disturbing his nap and continuing on with our VBS activities I went home to find a Facebook friend request waiting for me. Despite the fact we lived two hours apart, we started talking and seeing each other. It became clear to both of us that even with the distance this relationship was going places. Now, four years and many memories later, we are so excited to be starting life together.
