SHOUT OUT TO BUMBLE

We met virtually 2 weeks before Kelsey made the trip to Jacksonville for the first time. Our conversations flowed effortlessly and we were both excited to meet each other in person. Kelsey met Tommie the first day she got into Jacksonville. She had a few hours before she could get into her AirBnB and they decided to meet in Rivertown to go for a walk and play some basketball....... in 95 degree, humid Florida weather. After a sweaty game of HORSE(in which Kelsey won), Tommie decided he just wanted to be friends. Being the great man that he is, he still helped Kelsey move into her new temporary home. Kelsey knew in her gut after their first meeting that she would marry Tommie and had a long conversation that night with God about him. To thank Tommie for being the Jacksonville Welcome Wagon, Kelsey made Tommie her parmesan chicken a few days later. And, needless to say, Tommie decided he couldn't live without Kelsey.... and her chicken parmesan. :) We are so excited to spend the rest of our days supporting, loving, and playing HORSE with each other and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of our loved ones!

The year was 1999 on a random weekday. The last bell rang and a group of neighborhood kids formed out on the black top. Kate asked me if I wanted to walk home with her, and so we did. Kate has been dragging me on “walkabouts” ever since. I don’t know what I would have done for the past 25 years without you, Katherine!!

Sam and I were once opponents turned teammates. And we haven’t left each others corners since. Some of our best memories were road tripping for a tournament bumping Tupac in the Woiwood Astro van 😎

Becky was the Mayo Clinic Gynecologic Surgery Welcome Wagon when I started at Mayo. I clung to her and her kindness and I still cling to her to this day! Everybody needs a Becky.. she may lady bug after a few drinks but she will always be my anchor!!

Corey has been a really great buffer during my forced “walkabouts” with Kate. He makes sure there is either a restaurant, tourist attraction, or bar for multiple stops on our infamous walks. He is also a great friend and I am grateful to have him in my life.

Brandon isn't just my cousin; he's like a lifelong brother to me! We've spent countless weekends having fun together, playing sports, and creating our games. Whether we were shooting hoops, kicking a soccer ball around, or making up wild challenges, every moment with him has been a lot of fun! We always find a way to turn any day into an adventure. Even today, we enjoy playing golf and bouncing ideas off each other!

Justin has been more than just my cousin. He's been a lifelong brother. We grew up spending nearly every weekend together, from shooting hoops in the driveway to navigating the ups and downs of teenage adventures. Whether it was learning what not to do from my rebellious moments or just enjoying the simple joy of being kids, our bond has always been strong and full of laughter. He's not just family; he's a cornerstone of my happiest memories

Austin is not just my cousin; he has been a lifelong partner in adventure. From early morning sessions at the local park to late nights filled with dreams of future adventures, we shared unforgettable moments that shaped who we are. Every scrape and bruise was a badge of honor, a testament to our fearless spirit. No matter where life takes us, I know our bond and the memories we created will remain a cherished part of my journey.

When I first met Spencer in elementary school, a girl dared me to kick him in the leg, and when I did, I was met with a fist to the face. We have been friends ever since, making memories off-roading and getting our trucks stuck more times than I can count. There was never a dull moment with us. He's like a brother to me; I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.
