Owen and Kelsi met at a mutual friend’s house in 2005. Kelsi
was immediately smitten with Owen, while Owen was intrigued and thought Kelsi
was fun, he also thought she was too young (three years younger) so they
remained friends for the next 6 years. Both admit there were always feelings
there and both would look forward to running into each other at friend’s gatherings.
Kelsi never put Owen out of her mind though, even once telling a friend that
she was going to marry Owen someday. Finally, leading up to the spring of 2011,
timing was right and Owen decided it was time to take Kelsi off the market.
After spending much time together they realized life was more fun with each
other and they have been inseparable ever since. They bought a house together
in March 2016 and Owen proposed in January of 2017&nbsp;in Hawaii on&nbsp;a private beach while
horseback riding. Kelsi and Owen enjoy&nbsp;a similar sense of humor,
love of Disney and Star wars, and believe that they bring out the best in one
another. They are so excited for this next chapter and&nbsp;to share this most joyous occasion with all their
friends and family. &nbsp;

County Road 3 North (left) Note: Co. Rd. 3 turns right at Half Moon Saloon in Merrifield&nbsp;&nbsp;

















Stay on County Rd 3 through Crosslake, it becomes County Rd. 66 through Crosslake&nbsp;

















Pine Peaks Lodge & Suites will be on the right just past the Holiday station and Pine Peaks Restaurant.

Head North on Co. Rd. 66 towards Swann Dr.&nbsp; (5.1 miles)&nbsp;













Turn left at Co. Rd. 1 (drive 1.9 miles).&nbsp;













Turn left onto Swanburg Rd. &nbsp;(first road after Faith Lutheran Church)













It is a small unmarked road and easy to miss, so plan on turning soon after the church.

Kelsi's big&nbsp;sister, and mother of beloved niece Eleni and nephew Deano. Kristina&nbsp;and Kelsi were very close growing up and enjoy making fun of their parents together. They also enjoyed putting on plays&nbsp;and fighting over attention as children. Kelsi&nbsp;describes Tina as&nbsp;one of the most beautiful and&nbsp;giving&nbsp;people you will meet!

Ryan and I have been friends since first grade. We grew up living&nbsp;two blocks away from each other and became good&nbsp;friends very quickly. Growing up we enjoyed biking around the neighborhood, playing video games, playing night games (kick the can), and many sleepovers as kids. Ryan moved away for a couple years, but his family moved back to the neighborhood the summer before our junior year of high school. We picked up right where we left off and have continued to be great friends ever since. I was the Best Man in Ryan's&nbsp;wedding and it is an honor to have Ryan as the Best Man in my own wedding.

Maureen and Kelsi have been best friends since 2nd grade! They grew up figure skating together and even went to college together! They enjoy watching bravo tv and lifetime movies together. Kelsi describes "Moe" has her most sweet and loyal friend&nbsp;

Maureen Macken 

Song and I met in Junior High and became good friends attending St.&nbsp;Louis Park&nbsp;High School. Playing football together is where our friendship grew. After high school,&nbsp;we&nbsp;both attended the same community college. We have spent many sunny days on Lake Okoboji together, even making it a tradition.&nbsp;Song has been one of my closest friends over the years. He is also getting married in 2018, so we are both celebrating&nbsp;an important year of events together.

Kelsi met Allison her freshman year of college and they immediately clicked! They lived together most of college and&nbsp;survived many college experiences together! Kelsi describes Allison as her humorous and honest friend.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Allison Stohlmann

Jason and I met in high school playing football. After graduating, we lived in&nbsp;an apartment together, even after&nbsp;people told us it would ruin our friendship. We had many&nbsp;fun&nbsp;times and&nbsp;stayed good friends through it all. I actually met Kelsi all those years ago&nbsp;through Jason at gatherings we all attended. Jason lives in Arizona now, but we still get together every chance we can to have a drink, catch up, and create new memories.

Kelsi and Abbie met in crosscountry in 7th grade and reconnected in high school. Kelsi and Abbie have many inside jokes and are always laughing when together. Kelsi describes Abbie as her hip, entertaining and stylish friend!

Abbie Sitkoff

Chris and I became friends through playing hockey together for years up until graduating high school. We stayed good friends while Chris was attending the U of M, whether it was hanging in his dorm room or attending college gatherings. Soon after, Chris moved to attend Arizona State where I was able to&nbsp;visit&nbsp;him a couple times. Although we live far away from each other now, it still doesn't take much for us to&nbsp;reconnect like always.

Chris Borovsky

Branden and I met when we sat next to each other in&nbsp;Spanish class during high school. We share a love for music and&nbsp;all things sports.&nbsp;We have always played fantasy football in the same group and we&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;playing&nbsp;basketball and golf&nbsp;in the summer. Over the years our friendship has grown with all the fun times we have experienced together.

Branden Fessler

Kelsi and Jessica met senior year of highschool and have been good friends ever since! They went to college closeby and enjoyed many adventures together. Kelsi describes Jessica as her trustworthy and always up for a good time friend with amazing culinary skills!

Jessica Stapp

James is Kelsi's&nbsp;stepbrother and my friend.&nbsp;We have shared many days up north at the cabin, spending time&nbsp;out on the lake on the&nbsp;pontoon.&nbsp;James is&nbsp;kind and fun, and has always accepted me as one of the family. Both James and his wife Ellen&nbsp;have&nbsp;three amazing little children which I have had the pleasure of being Uncle Owen to throughout the years.

Kallen is Owen's sister and Kelsi's friend. Kelsi and Kallen have had many memories together in the past 7 years including several family trips&nbsp;and Kelsi can always count on Kallen for a good laugh or a good meal. Kelsi&nbsp;describes Kallen as hilarious, giving and always up for a good meme.&nbsp;

Bailey is Owen's youngest sister and Kelsi's friend. Kelsi and Bailey have spent many fun trips and experiences together with Owen's family. They share a love of make-up and crystals.&nbsp;Kelsi appreciates Bailey's kind heart and fun personality. Kelsi describes Bailey as creative, eccentric, and beautiful inside and out.&nbsp;

Bailey Henningsen

Michael is Kelsi's younger stepbrother and my friend. We have an awesome good time together, whether its dressing like zombies for the Zombie Pub Crawl or shooting fireworks off&nbsp;the dock at the cabin. He also&nbsp;makes a wicked&nbsp;tasty margarita&nbsp;if you're&nbsp;ever at the lake up north.&nbsp;Micheal&nbsp;helped me get into my current job working in IT and for that I will always be thankful.
