As many of you know, Cody and I met in the summer of 2012 when he was playing summer baseball in Regina Saskatchewan Canada. The night we actually met, we were out on the town on a Saturday night and I may have had a couple adult beverages. Because of mutual friends, we were in the same social circle and one of my favourite songs at the time came on "Stuck Like Glue" by Sugarland, and out of no where I decided I wanted to sing the whole song not only out loud, but directly to him. He does say I didn't miss a word!

We than saw each other a few days later, and me being a little embarrassed about my actions decided I should go and apologize to him. We spent the rest of the evening talking and getting to know one another. Every time we saw each other after that we would talk and began to hang out.

After Cody went back to Georgia in August we didn't really know where our relationship would go, but to our surprise, we spoke every day, mainly via text until December when Cody came back up to Canada to spend New Years. From there the rest is history.

Cody proposed to me on July 13, 2015. We were in Florida on a family vacation, and one day he came up with the idea of us getting cute photos on the beach. So that night we got dressed up and went out to take photos on the beach. I had a small hunch that he might be proposing - but talked myself out of it because I had thought this at least two other times. We took a few photos and all of a sudden he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Neither of us really remember what he said exactly but that he asked and I said yes!

His aunt was able to capture the entire moment through her photos!
