Kelsi was living in Hershey, PA with her sister Bree after finishing grad school. Cory was living in good ole Emmaus. One particularly late Saturday night when Cory finished his bartending shift in Emmaus and Kelsi got home from a night out of shenanigans with Bree in Harrisburg, they both happened to be on Facebook. Cory posted a status. Kelsi liked the status. Cory messaged Kelsi, "What are you doing up so late?" From that first message, not a day went by that the two didn't find time for one another.

Kelsi was planning a weekend visit to Emmaus to spend time with her parents and thought it might be a good idea to let Cory know about this visit. As if on queue, Cory's response was "We should get together, it would be great to see you." Cherry vanilla ice cream at Countryside and a marvel movie at the promenade goes down in history as the first date! Not that she was looking, but her hometown of Emmaus was the last place Kelsi would have thought to look for her person!

After a few months, Cory decided to make their relationship official. Cory asked, "Do you want this picture frame to have a photo of us?" With everyone else around them confused, Kelsi knew exactly what that question meant, and needed no hesitation to say, "YES!" Backstory - Taylor gave Kelsi a beautiful, ornate picture frame as a gift. Upon opening the gift, Kelsi thought, "This is the perfect picture frame for a photo of my human and me." At the time, not having a human, Kelsi left the frame empty on her nightstand. During Cory's first visit to Hershey, Cory asked Kelsi why she had an empty frame on her nightstand. Coincidentally, Cory had an equally meaningful empty frame waiting for the same picture.

Surrounded by family, sun kissed from an afternoon at the pool, and digging in to Mama's pizza at their home in Breinigsville, Cory got down on one knee. A very shocked Kelsi replied, "YES" to Cory's question of "Will you spend the rest of your life with me?"

Kelsi and Cory brought home Louie Moon Washburn Sam completing their family! Louie is Kelsi's first dog and is the biggest blessing. Louie is the best dog and the greatest companion that Kelsi and Cory could hope to have. He is loyal, calm, lazy, and well behaved would be the understatement of the century. Louie is so fiercely loved and adored.
