Is there a dress code? What do I wear?

While there isn't a specific dress code, we want everyone to dress their best and be comfortable! The ceremony is being held in a church, so anything you could wear to church is appropriate. Please refrain from wearing jeans or casual wear (hats, cut-off shorts, etc.).

Are there certain colors that are not allowed to be worn?

Yes. Please refrain from wearing any variation of sage green, dark green, blush, champagne, and white. Good tip: if you're questioning if your outfit is not within the dress code, it most likely is not and it would be best to change just to be safe!

Are the ceremony and reception held on the same grounds?

No. The ceremony will be held at the church while the reception will be held at The Venue in Old Towne Slidell!! While the travel time between the two is about ten minutes, we completely understand if you don't want to travel/have other things to do after the ceremony ends! With this thought in mind, we have made RSVPs separate for the ceremony and reception! Please make sure to answer these accordingly!

What time does the ceremony start? When should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promptly at 11 AM. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony (10:45 AM). If you are running late, please do not enter the church after the ceremony has started. This will disrupt and distract the bride and groom and their guests. If you are late, please skip the ceremony and meet us for the reception!

How do I RSVP?

Everyone will be able to RSVP through our website's QR code! For those who cannot scan a QR code/RSVP online, please contact Cameron or Kelsie to personally RSVP! Online RSVPs help us keep track of who's coming/unable to attend without having to manually write it down! The deadline to RSVP is SEPTEMBER 15. If you fail to RSVP by the deadline, your invitation will be rescinded and we will not be able to accommodate you on our big day if you were to arrive.

Can I bring a Plus One or extend my invite?

If your invite is addressed to you, it is only for you and your plus ones/family in your household. If you're able to bring a plus one, it will be stated in your RSVP section! Unless it is directly stated, please don't bring a plus one/extend the invite outside of those who are invited. We will not be accommodating anyone who is not on our RSVP list!! **If you feel that there is a mistake regarding the guest list or RSVPs, please feel free to contact Cameron or Kelsie!**

Are kids invited?

Similarly to the Plus One answer, if your kids are invited, it will be stated on the invite and RSVP. We want everyone to treat this as a parents' day out, so we encourage you to keep your littles at home and have a babysitter for the day. If you do bring your kids, please be mindful that our reception will be serving alcohol.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Yes!! Our wedding hashtag is #BecomingTheKelts! We would love for you to tag your photos with it so we can see how much fun you had on this special occasion!

Do you have a gift registry?

We’ve been asked for gift suggestions by friends and family. Thankfully, we are blessed with absolutely everything we need for this exciting new chapter! However, for guests who have expressed an interest, we’d love for you to consider pitching into our Honeymoon Fund in lieu of a gift! We will still have a very small registry to pick from as well.

Is this an "unplugged" ceremony?

Yes!! Out of respect for us and the church, please keep your cell phones/cameras off and out of sight while the ceremony is being held. We want you present in the moment with us and want to see your beautiful faces rather than a cellphone blocking your face! You can take as many photos as you want at the reception, but please leave the photo-taking of the ceremony to the photographers we booked! We will be sure to share the photos with you once we get them back!

Are there transportation accommodations/hotel blocks?

As much as we'd love to do so, we are not able to provide transport or lodging for our guests. We recommend carpooling/going together to attend our big day! With the reception serving alcohol, please be responsible and don't drink and drive. We want everyone to have fun, but your safety comes first!

I have a question or concern that isn't listed on the website. Who can I ask?

For any unanswered questions or concerns, no matter how small, you can contact Kelsie or Cameron!
