Q + A

What time does the service start?

Congregational Singing will begin at 12:30 PM. This will be all acapella singing with no instrumental accompaniment. Everyone is welcome to join in the singing if they wish. The wedding service will begin at 1:00 PM. Please arrive by 12:30 so the ushers can seat you in plenty of time.

What should I wear?

The wedding service will be part of our Afternoon Church Service, so church attire is appropriate. Please feel free to wear what you wish. However, most men will be in suits/dress clothes. Women will be in dress clothes, with most women in attendance in dresses/skirts.

How do I get from the Wedding Service to the Wedding Reception?

The reception is at our church Fellowship Hall, just down the road from the church. You will need to drive, but there is plenty of parking at the Fellowship Hall and there will be Ushers available to direct you.

How does the Buffet Reception work?

When you arrive you will enter a receiving line to meet the couple (we promise not to talk too much so the line keeps moving!). After you meet Hannah and Kelwin, you can go through the Buffet line to get your meal. There is no formal program/announcements, so when you’re finished eating, you’re free to go.

What is the schedule for Church Day?

We would love to have you join us for our entire church day as we glorify God together! There are Sunday School classes for all ages (children and adults) that begin at 9:30 AM (singing begins at 9:25 AM). Our Morning Worship Service will begin at 10:30 AM and is followed by lunch and fellowship. Everyone is invited to join us for lunch which is where we enjoy getting to visit during this intermission time between services. The Wedding Service will be part of the Afternoon Church Service, with singing beginning at 12:30 PM.

What is the Saturday Night Wedding Singing?

All invited guests and our Church family are invited to a traditional Hymn Singing on Saturday evening in honor of the bride and groom. This will be an acapella singing where everyone can join in the singing. This is also another opportunity for us to be able to visit with our invited guests and family before/after the song service.
