Our Story begins in October of 2022. We met at a church retreat. Ken was in the school of Ministry and Kristina was in a Discipleship program. The first time we ever saw each other was on the porch of the coffee shop at the retreat. That next month we saw each other in the halls of the church and then Ken “happened” to join Kristina’s small group and sat right in front of her! In November after a class, Ken offered to walk Kristina to her car where he finally asked her out to coffee. We met for coffee after the coldest night we had in years. We bundled up in a corner near the fireplace at Cracked Mug and talked for hours until we realized the coffee shop had closed down. The workers said “y’all looked like you were having great conversation and we didnt want it to end”! Ken joined the fam for the big Thanksgiving dinner and he was a hit! We went into a great Christmas season and after that season, we knew that God was doing something so special. That summer we went on family trips to Big Bend, Mexico, camping at Gardener State Park, day trips to the lake, river trips, tubing trips, long bike rides and runs. Trips to see Kloe...it was the sweetest summer. On Valentines day in 2024, Ken asked Kristina to be his wife and of course she said yes! 🤍 Its been an amazing ride these last 2 years. We are looking forward to celebrating our Happy Ever After day with our family and a few friends. Our family is our world...literally. We love you all so much.
