Life is funny.&nbsp; How two people can take very opposite ways to get to the same place — the same moment.&nbsp; From South Carolina to Disney to Colorado.&nbsp; Or aimlessly driving around the country until you decide to finally call a place home. Sarah and Ken’s path lead them together.&nbsp; Coming out of the shut down from Covid in 2020, Sarah, helping a sister restaurant while her own was closed, was managing while the then Head Chef was still in hiding but finally forced to go back to work.&nbsp; It wasn’t long after that the two started to gradually pull to each other. From highs to lows, there was a connection that both felt but neither was sure. Until one day they were texting, not about work, but about anything they could just to keep speaking to one other.&nbsp; It was less than a week before they were official. Less than two weeks before Chooch knew she had a mom. Less than a month before they adopted their second baby, Louis.&nbsp; From his apartment, to their home; from murphy’s to new ventures; they grew and fell deeper in love.&nbsp; Now they await November to bind their love for each other through marriage and enter the next chapter of their lives.

WATER, WATER, WATER!!! I Cannot express this enough to all of our families traveling from sea level. Please make sure you are always drinking water from the time you land until you leave. Altitude sickness is a real thing and I promise you do not want to deal with what comes along with it. The venue is also in the mountains which means even higher altitude and easier to dehydrate yourself (especially if you are planning on enjoying some adult beverages!!)

Pearl Street Mall is a must when visiting Boulder! It is an outdoor walking "mall" with MANY restaurants and stores to visit. You can always find street performers as well. Some of our favorites include Snooze (Ken's restaurant), The Rio (Manberry Marg's BABYYY), Boulder Bookstore, The hot dog cart outside the Downer (IYKYK).

Pearl Street Mall

Our city in the mountains! Denver is only about a 30-40 minute drive from Boulder and in our opinion is a must if you have never been to Colorado. Make sure to check out the 16th street Mall, Larimer Square, Civic Center Park and all the sporting venues for the Rockies, Broncos, AV's and Nuggets.

Red Rocks is one of the most famous concert venues in the country with the beautiful mountains and red rocks behind you and Denver's sky line as the back drop. There is also a museum and restaurant and is absolutely breath taking. About 45 minutes from Boulder.

Home of the famous Coors Brewery (Take a tour!!). Golden is a cute little mountain town filled with shopping, breweries, LOTS of dogs and museums. About 25-30 minutes from Boulder.

Although it is November and Trail Ridge may be closed (this is how you are able to go all the way to the top of RMNP by car and then around to Grand Lake) we highly recommend checking it out! You can still enter the park up until a certain part. Pets are not allowed and there is usually a timed entry so make sure you do your research! About 45 minutes from Boulder.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Estes is one of the most visited mountain towns in Colorado with a wide array of things to do. If you are looking for a sure fire way to see some wildlife while here Estes is the spot, there are always Elk roaming around town. Estes is also home to the Stanley Hotel which was the inspiration for The Shinning and Dumb and Dumber was filmed there. Its not just a hotel but also a museum of sorts. -45 minutes from Boulder.

Quite a bit down the road at almost 2 hours away are Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. It is 100% worth the drive. Home to The Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, US Olympic training center, US Air force Academy, Manitou Incline, Pike's Peak and the Cog Railway to the top of the peak.

Get your hiking fill with trails that range from easy to hard depending where you go. Or keep driving up Flagstaff mountain to the top and over look the Flatirons and Boulder.
