Therese and Kenan met on July 16th, 2021 at a mutual friend's wedding. That day happened to be Therese's birthday, but more importantly, it was the luckiest day of Kenan's life...

As the wedding was taking place, they shared glances and definitely caught one another's attention, but no one said a word... until the very end of the night. Right when the dancing was about to stop, Therese introduced herself to Kenan. Kenan was overjoyed. He thought she looked beautiful and was immediately attracted to Therese's charisma and joyous personality. They hit it off that night, and they even learned they'd be seeing each other again 2 weeks later at another mutual friend's wedding!

During those two weeks in between, Kenan mustered up the courage to slide in to Therese's DMs on instagram to confirm that Therese still intended on going to the wedding. Once Kenan got the confirmation, it was game time. Kenan knew what needed to be done...

On the day of the second wedding, Kenan and Therese picked up right where they left off. Sparks flew, emotions ran high, and the conversation was engaging. And at the end of the night, Kenan asked Therese to go on a date. Therese said "YES", and a couple days after that, they got coffee together at Frame Park in Waukesha.

That date turned into many more. Eventually, they became boyfriend and girlfriend. And as things got more serious, Kenan moved to Madison to be closer to Therese. It was there that their relationship really blossomed and they began to realize that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other.

So, on September 17, 2023, Kenan got down on a knee (so they could be on eye level with each other) and asked Therese to marry him, and Therese said "YES"!!!!!
