The day after freshman move-in day at Kent State University. Kendall and Steven had only been on campus for one full day, and were both still getting things situated in their respective dorms, walking around campus for the first time, and getting to know all of the new people they had only just met.

Kendall and Steve ended up hanging out in the lounge on the top floor of Wright Hall, Kendall's dorm, and their groups of new friends were beginning to mingle with each other.

Kendall knew she liked Steve the moment she met him, and she was the only person he wanted to talk to in the entire room. When they finally started to talk, Kendall nervously asked his name:

"Steve, and what's yours?"

"Good!" Kendall replied... Not realizing he was asking her name, not how she was doing.

"Oh, nice to meet you good!"

"Oh, no my name is Kendall!! But I am doing good too!"

Little did they know that they had just met their new friend, and soon after partner, and future spouse.

Kendall and Steve would go on to spend the the rest of their lives making memories like:

Binging their favorite shows like New Girl, Survivor, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, and many more.

Kendall's April Fool's Day shenanigans.

Walking around Kent State's campus on beautiful fall afternoons.

Enjoying late nights at Zephyr Pub with friends.

Many shared occasions at Bellaria Restaurant.

Annual trips to Indian Lake, PA with all of their friends.

Completing the Pittsburgh Brewery Guide, 2nd Edition.

Starting and maintaining their "City Garden" AKA their backyard garden.

Showing each other around their hometowns, and traveling to see each other on holidays.

A nice breakfast burrito at Fat Cats in Tremont.

Weekly runs with their good friends at Fleet Feet.

Running races together.

Annual Halloween parties at their home in Lawrenceville.

Inviting new furry family members into their home.

Summers spent going to art festivals and the renaissance fair.

A cold beer at Eleventh Hour Brewing.

Waking up early on Groundhog Day to watch Phil come out of his burrow on TV.

Many shared memories during travel together.

Endless inside jokes.

These memories will last a lifetime, just like their love for each other. Through joys and times of hardship, Steve and Kendall know they have their person with them through it all; to support, bring joy, reason, and light to their lives.
