November 19, 2021: Our first date!

Kendall & I have known since our first date that we were going to be inseparable. I am so thankful The Lord had our story already written!

November 29, 2021: The day Kendall met my family!

My dad texted me immediately afterwards and said “That is the best man you’ve ever introduced to us” … so, let’s just say my mama and daddy have been fans since day one!

December 24, 2021: The start of “forever!"

Kendall wrote me a letter and asked me to be his girlfriend… of course I said yes!

Fast forward 11 months…

November 9, 2022: The day Kendall asked for my hand in marriage!

Kendall drove to my parent’s house that afternoon and asked them both if he could marry me! Of course they said “yes!"

November 10, 2022: The day Kendall bought my engagement ring!

I definitely never thought he would have the patience and willpower to keep his mouth shut for 13 months, but he did!

Fast forward one year…

December 31, 2023: The day of our engagement!

Kendall had told me at the beginning of December that he could not do anything on New Year’s weekend because he was on call for work, which is nothing out of the ordinary, so i thought nothing of this.

Peyton & Preston Wicker invited Kendall and I to go eat at Rusty’s in Vicksburg for New Year’s Eve because we had all come to the conclusion that we hadn’t done anything on New Year’s Eve since 2020… we are all homebodies if you can’t tell!

I knew Kendall wouldn’t be able to go eat with us, so I told Peyton that it would only be me.. I had been Peyton and Preston’s “third wheel” for almost 10 years, so this was nothing new for us!

Kendall called me around 2:00 pm and told me that he was going to try to see if another guy he worked with wanted to take his on call for the rest of the day and weekend so that he could spend the night with us and go eat… he then told me the guy agreed and he was on his way to Anguilla!

Around 4:00 pm Peyton, Preston, and I left their house headed to get Kendall from my parents house.. or so I thought. Peyton told me she needed to pick some things up from the cottage her parents lived in after the tornado and I again, thought nothing of this. So we stopped at the cottage. Peyton asked me to go in and help her grab some things, so I went in and when i opened the wardrobe to grab the clothes I didn’t even notice that it was full of white dresses for me to choose from…

Needless to say.. I was clueless and am so gullible.

I then saw a rose and letter written for me from Kendall. That is when i knew he was going to ask me to marry him!

Our next stop was to my church where my brother, Chaz, Kendall’s brother, Kaleb, and Kendall’s dad, Daniel, each had a rose and letter for me again.

They then took me to Mont Helena.

At the bottom of the hill, my dad was waiting for me, again with a rose and letter from Kendall.

My dad drove me up the hill and Kendall was standing there waiting for me.

Kendall then asked me to marry him in the most beautiful way! I could not have dreamed of anything better!

December 31, 2023 will forever be a day that is so incredibly special to me and I will never forget it!

April 5, 2025: Our Wedding Day!

Soon to be my favorite day of our story yet! I absolutely cannot wait to be his wife and spend forever by my best friend’s side! Please be in prayer for us as we enter into a new chapter of our lives together! We are so blessed!
