Kendall and Zach met in 2017 in one of the most unconventional places –– calculus class while at The University of New Mexico. After months of occasionally studying together, getting to know each other and going on what would easily be considered dates in hindsight, they started officially dating on April 22nd, 2018. Fun fact: Kendall and Zach's first date was a trip to P.F. Changs and their second date was an excursion to Meow Wolf in Santa Fe!

They got engaged on October 8th, 2023, after taking a trip to Durango to see the changing fall colors. On the morning of a crisp fall day, they took a drive up from Durango to Silverton along the Million Dollar Highway, taking in the remarkable mountain scenery and stopping occasionally to take some photos. After getting to Silverton, Zach kicked his Jeep into 4WD and drove down a dirt road until he found a beautiful and quiet meadow. Thinking they were taking a picture with the beautiful backdrop of the meadow, golden aspen trees, and a snow capped mountain, Kendall was unsuspecting of what was to come next. Zach then got down on one knee and asked Kendall to be his wife and by some stroke of luck for Zach, she said yes! Afterwards, while taking in the moment, the couple soon realized that the mountain in the background was named Kendall Mountain, making the spot even more special!

After spending 6 years together, Kendall and Zach are incredibly excited to celebrate with each and every one of you on October 26th as they embark on the next chapter of their lives together!
