Trent and Kendall first met in December 2017. The Furman baseball team was throwing their annual Christmas baseball function. At the time, Kendall's roommate was dating another baseball player and wanted a few of her friends to come to the Christmas party with her. As a result, Kendall was listed as Trent’s fake date to the Christmas party so she would be allowed in.

It ended up snowing that night and Kendall texted her mom complaining that her roommate was making her go. Kendall claims she never liked watching baseball much and said multiple times she would never date a baseball player because she did not want to have to go to all of the long games! Trent couldn't believe that some girl with the same name as his dad could possibly be listed next to his name on the guest list. Long story short, they both insisted on not meeting their fake date that night, but at some point during the evening they were introduced and ended up dominating the beer pong table together the entire night.

The following Spring semester Trent and Kendall ended up having a class together, New Testament. It took several weeks to months for them to acknowledge that they were in class together. Once baseball season started, Trent made sure to get Kendall's phone number so she could help him with notes and homework he missed due to baseball. Kendall was certain that was Trent's one and only goal :) Surprisingly, towards the end of the season, Kendall may have gone to a baseball game or two with her friends.

Trent and Kendall started dating October 22, 2018. Their first unofficial date was to Henry’s BBQ in Greenville and they still love to go back! Their first official date was at Limoncello in downtown Greenville.

Trent and Kendall continued to date the rest of their college careers at Furman, while Kendall played soccer and Trent played baseball.

After graduation, Trent took a fifth year at Palm Beach Atlantic to play baseball and get his MBA, and Kendall started PA School at Mercer University in Atlanta. Over the years they made lots of memories from going to sporting events, concerts, lake days and just every day fun.

Fast forward to October 21, 2023 when Trent popped the question on Lake Keowee where they had spent many summer days and made countless memories with family and friends!
