Long story short, because we love Maine! It has been a special place for us since we first started dating. Kathryn growing up on the coast in California and Kendall spending a few summers on Nantucket; we both have a great appreciation for destinations on the water! Over our years dating we have taken trips to Maine every summer, each a welcome getaway from our busy lives in Chicago. We've loved each destination - from Southwest Harbor to Portland but something about Boothbay is special! We are so excited to build our Maine memories by sharing our wedding day with family and friends at the Spruce Point Inn!

Cocktail. Suits or sports coats for men. Short or long dresses for women. Bring a shawl in case the coastal breeze picks up!

Because our ceremony takes place on the earlier side, we will have a small break between the ceremony and cocktail hour. We recommend taking advantage of all the Spruce Point has to offer. Shuffleboard, giant chess, a patio with a breathtaking view are all great options! A quick nap, or a trip to a local brewery are also great options. We've tried Boothbay Craft Brewery and the Footbridge Brewery and enjoyed both. If you are hungry for a snack, the local seafood at McSeagull's is incredible.
