For the savvy traveler who does not want to rent a car to get around for the weekend, the Denver Metro Area has a rail line pass called the "Airport Day Pass" for $10 that is good all day from the Airport to Golden. Denver Airport Station can be accessed at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal by exiting through the glass doors and taking the escalator/elevator down to the ground level.

Use the "RTD MyRide" App to by your ticket electronically or use the ticket stations at Denver Airport Station. Use the RTD "Plan a Trip" tool for a detailed itinerary with times and transfers to be able to reference during your ride.

Trip Itinerary

Take the A-Line from DIA to Union Station. Transfer at Union Station to the W-Line on Track 12 toward Jeffco Government Center Station-Golden Station. To get to Track 12 take the escalator down from the tracks into the Union Station Transit Center. Walk all the way to the end of the terminal pass all the bus gates towards the W-Line/Light Rail. Take the escalator back up to the street to Track 11 & 12. From track 12 get on the light rail W-Line towards Jeffco. Take the Light- Rail to Oaks Station. Transfer from Oaks Station to the 17-Line Bus at Gate D. Take the 17-Line to W Colfax Ave & Denver West Blvd (remember to pull the yellow stop request line or the bus won't stop!). Then it's a short walk to the hotel!
