Our Wedding

<p>It all started on our first date at Mongolian Grill. Driving to the restaurant we were both nervous to meet each other, first impression based solely on pictures. As soon as we saw each other it was like a breath of fresh air. Of course, I (Kendra), couldn't stop talking.... I don't think Mitchell got a word in for a solid 30 minutes. When the date was over I could not wait to hug him, so I did! We continued to see each other for 6 months before finally making it "official". Funny story about this part ... neither one of us asked to be boyfriend and girlfriend, we just kind of assumed it (so we THINK, our anniversary is sometime early May ... we'll go with May 5th.) It took all of maybe a month for Lola to fall fast for Mitchell. Fast forward to 2019, we move into our first apartment together, Lola claiming her rightful throne of the recliner. Come April, we get our baby boy puppy Tug. Hilliard was our first home together, but jobs took us to move back to Springfield in 2021. We made our apartment our new home where we fell deeper for each other, saving every penny and dime to one day buy our first house. Minor pitstop on that saving journey where Mitchell FINALLY proposed to me June 28th, 2022. It was the fastest yes of my life. Continuing on with the saving journey, by the end of July 2022 we closed on our first home, and by the first week of August we were officially moved in. Tug and Lola finally have their own backyard and Mitchell has a yard he can take care of (after constantly checking out other people's mower lines in their yards. Now here we are, planning our wedding. Our forever after will take place October 2023. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family! </p>
