Our favorite place at Barnwell! The Overlook at the top of the Scorpion Overlook trail ... There is vehicle parking near the trail and it is just a short trot the rest of the way to the overlook. Takes about 20 mins from the front gate by vehicle to the parking spot. Speed limit in the park is 15 MPH is why it will take that long to get to the parking spot. If you have a JEEP you may be able to get all the way to the overlook just fine. If you have a bag chair please bring it but there is a few benches that John made just for this occasion.

Brisket, Turkey and Ham all smoked by myself, John, Josh Hendrix and Saranne Labay, get your groove on with dancing and some karaoke for the evening close out… so please dust off your boots or on second thought don’t, but do tune your voices and get ready to make some memories with us! There will be an open bar for 4 hours. just a few basics. But you can also still bring your ice chest if you like and keep right outside the door.

Looks like rain on Saturday, so that means this could get messy. Just a fun filled day of riding, like usual. JEEP, UTV, ATV, Dirt Bike. There is no set times, just a hit a trail and enjoy the day! All rides will need to have to have their TX and Barnwell stickers. Everyone is responsible for their own fees and safety. Waivers can be filled out online. There is 2 rental companies in the area if you so wish to rent a ride We can get you that info. We do not however loan ours out, sorry. Also, please make sure you bring things to snack on and eat for your breakfasts, lunches and dinner(s). I am sure we will have the black stones going and anyone can use to cook things on if they want. Throw down you r meats and show us wat you got!
