ONE TOE, TWO PEOPLE, THREE STICHES....A FAIRY TALE
It was December 2nd, 2017 the couple had been set up on a blind date to the Phi Sig Semi Formal. They met at Kyle's place before the event. Kendra was at a mutual friend's place getting "ready" and she was trying out a concoction that her mother had shown her where you mix absolut vodka and tang together for a fruity drink. Well, let's just say Kendra messed up and mixed only a little tang into her 30oz yeti and was drinking straight vodka. FYI Kendra is a lightweight. This was apparent when she arrived at Kyle's Place (D4) to meet for the first time and take pictures. They took pictures some blurry some not. Soon they departed to another house to meet the entire Sorority and their plus ones.
By this point Kendra is emotional and drunk and Kyle is just trying to help her stand. Reminder this is the first time they met. She fell in a bush but Kyle was a trooper and got her up. However, it did not matter risk management decided to turn them away. Kyle and Kendra got a ride back to her apartment where she would be dropped off and Kyle would go to the Coop (Kyle's favorite bar).
Yet another turn in this story. Kendra had "misplaced" her keys and taken another sister's bag thinking it was hers because she was so drunk. So Kyle began calling for rides to his place, and the Coop had to wait. Eventually getting a ride they were greeted by Andrew, one of the Best Men. Kyle had ordered a pizza because he was so hungry. Kyle kept drinking. Eventually, Kyle's phone was borrowed to call Kendra's Mom. Tears were shed, confessions were made and Kendra thought the kitchen floor was a nice cold place to lay on. Kyle got his pizza and kept drinking.
Kyle made an error in judgment and tried carrying Kendra to the bed where she was dropped on his toe. Kyle put her in the bed and then grabbed a blanket and phone charger to sleep on the couch. It was at this moment he knew he was in trouble. A throbbing from his foot made him aware that his toe had been split open when he dropped Kendra. A split that required 3 stitches and $200 to the Conway Medical Center (CMC). And the rest was history.
