Our ceremony will be held at UBC Botanical Gardens. It is Canada’s oldest university botanic garden, established in 1916. We have chosen the beautiful and unique Roseline Sturdy Amphitheatre for our ceremony site. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the entire garden for free after the ceremony.The ceremony site is a four minute walk from the garden entrance, all pathways are either paved or gravel. Golf carts will be available to those with mobility issues and signs will be displayed to direct guests to the ceremony site. Our Wedding

Trevor and Kendra met May of 2020 at a dive bar called The Moose. Trevor was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday(Telford).Kendra was lured there by Jessica(Maid of Honour) on her way home from work. They both remember seeing each other’s smile from across the booth. And as the night went on, Trevor inched his way closer to to Kendra, until they both were sitting next to each other, shots of Tequila and Jack were ordered. Kendra showed him pictures of her recent trip to Saskatchewan, Trevor of his motorcycle. And at the end of the night when Jess said “We are going”Kendra said she’d stay for a bit longer. Trevor put his name in Kendra’s phone as“Trevor Motorcycle Neighbour” so she wouldn’t forget him. Their first date was on that motorcycle, and the soon Kendra’s phone said “Trevor Motorcycle Boyfriend”

How We Met

This last Christmas turned out to be a very special one. We were on our own this year in our Vancouver apartment due to Covid. We enjoyed a Christmas Eve Ukrainian dinner and a very long Skype chat with Kendra’s Mom and Dad. Christmas Morning we opened our stockings and phoned Trevor’s family. After a silly Christmas game of finding a pickle ornament in the tree, Trevor pulled out the special gift. With “All I want for Christmas” playing in the background, Trevor popped the question, and Kendra said yes!

About Us

Trevor grew up in Maple Ridge and later moved Mission. He loved anything to do with Motorsports. Before landing his dream job in the film Industry, Trevor worked in welding and the music industry. Now he has over 20 years in film under his belt, working in the Cinematography department. His Motorcycle is his pride and joy, and he loves to explore BC with Kendra on the back. Kendra grew up in Yorkton SK, and moved to BC twelve years ago. She grew up loving art, music, fishing and camping. She has been in the Beauty Industry for 16 years and loves her current career as a Medical Esthetician at The Vanity Lab. She enjoys working out, baking, watching crime documentaries and continuing to explore BC. Trevor and Kendra would say that no one really gets the real them except for when they are together. They are both watching movies, cooking together, trips on the motorcycles and sharing many inside jokes. They are beyond excited to have all their friends and family around to celebrate their upcoming marriage.

Our Story

If you are travelling from out of town there are so many great hotels to stay at in Vancouver. We also encourage you to look at Airbnb and Vrbo. Those options will probably have some of the best choices for a large group or longer stay. It’s best to look at staying somewhere downtown versus our reception location. Cecil Green house is part of the UBC area and there won’t be much choice for places to stay around there. But no worries, it’s only 20 minutes from downtown. Vancouver is a very walkable city. Depending on where you stay, you may have restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing right at your fingertips! So you may not need to drive everywhere you go. Even if you are renting a vehicle we suggest downloading the Uber app to use if needed, especially if you are going to be having some drinks. There are also quite a few cab companies, so you will never have to wait too long for a pick up. Always leave extra time to find parking in Vancouver. There is a parking lot right by both our Ceremony and Reception Venues for guests.

This is the closet Hotel to our apartment. In fact we could wave at each other from across the garden. It has a huge gym and the most beautiful heated rooftop pool.

This is a two part restaurant. The Spritz cocktail bar has been a favourite date night spot for us. It is a beautiful intimate bar with the very best cocktails. We love this place! Great oysters, seafood, and amazing happy hour. And it’s just steps from our house! We have literally taken Trevor’s favourite dish, oysters Rockefeller, as takeout home. If you’re coming from out of town and you’re looking for a place to try all the oysters without any hint of pretentiousness this is the place. It gets pretty busy, and a bit loud, but that’s a testament to it’s popularity. Stanley Park is a must see when you come to Vancouver. It is 400-hectares of natural West Coast rainforest, with scenic views of the water, and mountains. Check out the beautiful beaches(our favourite is called Third Beach), the hollow tree, the beautiful rose garden and Canada’s largest aquarium. The Seawall, is a 5.5-mile (9-kilometer) walking and cycling path, circles the perimeter of Stanley Park and passes many of the park’s attractions. You can also follow the park’s outer edge by car along Stanley Park Drive. You can drive over and park to explore. But a popular way to explore is by bike. Spokes Bicycle Rentals (1798 W. Stanley Park 

There are few highways in the world with as much awe-inspiring scenery as the Sea-to-Sky Highway. Officially known as BC Highway 99, this legendary route from Vancouver to Whistler and beyond is a drive with incredible sights at just about every turn. We take the motorcycle down this highway almost every weekend. If traffic is light and the weather is good, you can drive the entire Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler in about 2 hours. Granville Island is a favourite among locals and tourists alike. It’s a mix of fresh local food, art shops, restaurants and more. You most definitely have to spend a day here. When we visit we live to pick up a few goodies along the way to take home for dinner. Make sure to stop by Granville Island Brewing Co., Lee’s Doughnuts, Siegel’s Bagels, The Lobster Man and the Kid’s Market. Gastown is the oldest commercial district in Vancouver. It has beautiful historic buildings where you'll find boutiques, art galleries, fun bars and fine restaurants. Vancouver Aquarium 

Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park has so many spectacular views. It’s a great place to visit if your not from BC. You will get a glimpse of our beautiful rainforest. Capilano Suspension Bridge 

If you walk past this bar, you are going to want to go inside, just because if it’s unique and vibrant look. It is set up as four rooms. “The Living Room” the upstairs portion, where you can eat and drink in a variety of colourful seating areas or pull up to the bar. For a more private setting, there are two private rooms for up to 25 people in “The Kitchen” and “The Den”. And finally “The Basement”A neon-lit funky basement bar, the retro spot features games, desserts, and late-night dance parties until 3 am. The Belmont Bar 

Love this place.! It’s one of Vancouver’s best live music venues. It feels like a cool little secret as it’s located around the side and downstairs from the restaurant upstairs. But don’t worry you will see their sign. This dark romantic venue has bands visit from all over Canada as well as Burlesque nights. For an epic food experience, make sure you visit the Richmond Night Market! It is the largest Night Market in North America and has become an international attraction, attracting over 1 million visitors each year. You will want to show up with an empty tummy and a full wallet because there is an insane amount of good food to try. You’ll also find shops selling unique accessories and knick-knacks at street-side prices, like fun socks and clothing, colourful cell phone cases, stationary items, and much more. Along with food and shopping, there’s a diverse array of nightly live entertainment ranging from music and dance performances to carnival games and rides. COVID updates

We hope to enjoy a romantic trip together in the majestic Greek Islands. It will be even more special to get away after all the uncertainty of the last few years.
