Yes there is a Publix mid Island. There are trolleys and trams you'll have to download their apps or get on their websites to see their routes. It isn't too bad of a walk either.

On island there is Lighthouse resort, Pink Shell and a few others. Off Island there is a Hampton, we have stayed there before, very nice complimentary breakfast. Also it is located next to a Walmart, tram stop and a trolley pick up to get you back on Island you just have to download their app
