Joey and I first met in class at Indiana State University, and after a few adorably awkward moments, he finally asked me out. He arrived with the most beautiful flowers and made sure I didn’t open a single door that night—and I haven’t since. From that evening on, the nervousness melted away, and we’ve been writing the most beautiful love story together ever since.
