We actually met by me breaking one of my personal rules - never stop for strangers. It was winter break of 2016 and since we both worked campus jobs we were some of the only people on campus. He was a Resident Assistant (RA) and I was working at the poultry farm. So when I saw him bent over the hood of a super douchey mustang, I don’t know why I broke my rule, but I stopped to see if I could help.
I had a boyfriend at the time so we only exchanged names and niceties while I helped him jump off his car, and then we were on our separate ways. A semester later in 2017 I found myself single and thinking about the cute RA with the douchey car. I found his Instagram and I liked every picture he had and then he asked for my number. That same night we went for a walk around the dorms and shortly after that walk we began dating. We’ve been best friends ever since.

Kendrick-

We met during our sophomore year at Clemson, when we were some of the last people on campus due to work. She helped me by jumping off my car, and then she was gone. I learned she was from 96 and that was pretty much it. By the time the next semester’s finals week rolled around, I got a follow on Instagram from her. We went back and forth liking pictures, but I only had like 4 so I had to make a move. I asked for her number and it worked. We took our first walk around the Lightsey parking lot and just talked for about an hour. The next day we got Osaka for lunch, and then that night she invited me to dinner with her brother and friend. We ate chicken parm and played Mario cart. I decimated her, Ananda and Sean at Mario Cart, didn’t give her any chance of winning. I ate chicken parm then left for my job. I helped her move out a little bit and then we were into the summer. Smooth was not the word to describe me but luckily we kept in touch over the summer and love continued to grow. 8 years later and here we are all thanks to Ashlee for shooting her shot!
