We both were attending college at UWL where we met. We started dating at the beginning of the craziness of COVID and officially became boyfriend and girlfriend on July 5th, 2020. We both graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in May 2021. After that we moved into Jake’s grandma and grandpas home in Minocqua Wisconsin and found jobs. We have been loving life up north ever since.

In May, Jake took Kendyl on a weekend trip to La Crosse, Wisconsin. He proposed at the top of Grandads Bluff on May 3rd, 2024 in the town where our relationship began. From there we have decided our wedding will be on July 5th, 2025 - which will end up being our five year dating anniversary. 🤍
