This is one of those stories where neither person was looking or expecting to find love. Especially at a logistics company in Overland Park, KS. I didn't know what my plan was after college. I went to Europe for 6 weeks, and then started my new sales job shortly after. Sip was already at the company for a few months when I had started. I don't think he noticed me at first, but I noticed his dimples and laugh right away. We had "desk rides" where you would shadow different positions at the company and I was sat next to him because I was shadowing a guy to his left. They were friends and also friends with another girl who took to me. As a group we started taking lunches together. Lunches turned into me following Sip on social media and to me asking for his number. However, even though he will not admit it, Sip happened to be out and about on weekends so he could run into me. Reader, he had reached his homebody stage of life being 7 years older than me and I was still living for the weekend at 24 yo. We met up at The Phoenix in downtown Kansas City one Saturday in 2019 and we have been together ever since. Sip was contemplating moving back to Cali and I was in the awkward transition after college into the work force, so who would of thought? Not us! (Paul Rudd, Hot Ones, IYKYK) But when the right person comes into your life you just know, and that is absolutely the case here. We were what the other was missing and needing, and we are so lucky to have found each other.
