Our Story

Our Love Story

Their relationship is a testament of their love. Their story started 6 years ago when Keith told a coworker he thought Kenesha was beautiful. Kenesha noticed Keith was clean cut, well-groomed, and appeared to be quiet and shy. But she was totally wrong! She didn’t realize Keith was a low-key comedian, totally sarcastic, and very funny. As the couple began dating Kenesha began to see the other side of Keith that his friends knew all along …Keith was the life of the party.

From the time the couple met, Keith would speak about “the process.” Kenesha didn’t understand what “the process” meant, but as time went on Kenesha learned the process is a feeling. As the years went on, the couple saw their love story change, their communication get better, their understanding and acceptance of one another’s differences became clear. They grew to love one another and were intentional about having a relationship that took the hard times and made them into beautiful memories. Kenesha learned how to trust “the process" and let her guard down. The couple took the time to get to know one another. Their mutual love for travel took them around the world leaving a little piece of themselves in each place. They became a team. Their love wasn’t about anyone else which made it easy to stay focused and block out the noise and distractions. Netflix and chill was their weekly ritual when the couple wasn’t traveling or preparing for a trip. I guess the old saying is true “time flies when you’re having fun.”

Marriage was always the end game for Keith; however, a love story that he could be proud of was the ultimate prize. Keith did the work and was happy to make Kenesha his bride, his forever lady! Their wedding is a celebration and culmination of the work they put in. If Evyonne and Valrie were here, they would say that they are proud of the couple's journey…just remember “The race is not for the swift or the battle for the strong but the one that endures it to the end”. Ecclesiastes 9:11
