Our Story
Jack and Kenlee met in the 7th grade at Cordell Junior High. They had some mutual friends, but began “dating,” or whatever you want to call it when you’re 14, in the 8th grade. They lived just down the road from each other, so each of them would walk down to each other’s house for dinner, games, or just to spend time together. Jack ended up moving back to the Texas panhandle in Spearman the end of his freshman year, so they called it off. Throughout high school, Jack and Kenlee always kept in touch. Jack ended up getting a job right outside of Weatherford this past year, where Kenlee attends SWOSU. They ended up rekindling, and Jack took her out on a date. They went on a couple of dates, then Jack asked Kenlee to be his girlfriend. Just a few months short after, Jack decided that he was going to ask Kenlee to marry him. He took her out to Foss Lake, where he had handmade a wooden palette with the words, “Will you marry me?” along with some pictures of the two of them. Kenlee obviously said yes, now here they are, planning their wedding.
