Is there a dress code?
Yes! We are kindly requiring that our guests wear all black, semi-formal attire. Black from head to toe is ideal, however white undershirts for suits are understandable, or if any neutral color heels/shoes are necessary. We appreciate your cooperation in advance, and please feel free to reach out to either of us, or anyone in our bridal party, if you have any questions regarding if an outfit is appropriate and within our dress code.
Are children allowed to come?
Although we love your little ones, we are having a child-free wedding other than a few exceptions in our immediate family, who will be notified separately! We strongly encourage you to get a babysitter and take the night to have some fun for yourself!
Can I bring a plus one?
We have decided to limit our plus ones to those who we are close to both spouses. If you are permitted to bring a plus one, it will be clearly stated when you go to RSVP. We thank you for your understanding.
What food will be provided?
Being that our reception does have a later start time, we have decided not to provide a full meal. We will have a wide selection of appetizers during cocktail hour, cakes for each table at the reception, and pizza later in the night! We do recommend to plan ahead and eat accordingly beforehand if our selection may not be filling enough for you.
Where should I book a hotel room?
We have two room blocks set up that will be listed under the “travel” section on the website. They vary in pricing so that our guests can have options! There are also a few other hotels near by that look great if you do not wish to book within our room block.
What if I have to leave early for work?
We understand that with our wedding being until midnight on a Sunday night, that this may be an issue for some people. We debated having our wedding on Friday, but didn’t want to force people to take off work, or give up this date which is important to both of us. With that being said, we encourage anyone who is able to take off work the following Monday to do so, and be able to stay and enjoy the night. If you cannot, we absolutely understand. However, with the reception starting at 7:30, we hope that people can stay to enjoy that for a few hours so we aren’t left saying goodbye to everyone prematurely.
