Levi and I met in 2019 in Panama City Beach Fl at a summer discipleship program with the college ministry we were both involved in at Texas Tech and SMU. We didn’t really get to know eachother that well but from a distance I had a crush on Levi. When we graduated from college we both started working for the college ministry we were a part of and had many mutual friends but still didn’t know each other that well.


In December 2022 Brent (our officiant) asked me “Have you thought about asking Kennedy on a date?” and really hyped her up. It hadn’t been a serious thought before but once I thought more about it and talked to people who knew her well. I heard how highly they spoke of her so it was a no brainer.


As we went on our first few dates the way Levi was Godly, steady, and trustworthy and Kennedy’s Godly character, love for people, and goofy personality quickly won eachother over. Another thing that really stood out for both of us was the desire the other had to move overseas long-term to bring the gospel to places where there’s a little access to it. That was an area that God had been growing in both of our lives over the previous few years and it was so kind of God for us to be able to find someone who shared that same passion. Our relationship kept progressing as we got to know more about eachother that eventually led to Levi proposing on April 26 2024! Since then we have been excited to plan our wedding and our future together!
