Kennedy and Connor's love story started in a similar way to other modern day romances. The two matched on dating apps three times before getting the chance to go on their first date.

January 2022

Kennedy and Connor spent their first date in downtown St. Petersburg, FL with plans for food and drinks. They ended up in Mary Margaret’s Olde Irish Tavern for a Guinness and cider. While getting to know each other in one of the cozy wooden booths, a regular of the tavern came over and struck up conversation. By the end of the short conversation, the man told Kennedy and Connor: “You’re going to end up married in the next 5 years.”

...turns out the gentleman was correct.

Connor asked Kennedy to marry him on a gorgeous Sunday evening while visiting St. Augustine, FL.

They walked along the beach together, talking about how nice it was to have a break from the hectic nature of their respective careers. As they made their way back to the condo, Connor found the perfect moment to get down on one knee. He spoke about how the beaches of St. Augustine hold a great deal of importance for both of them and how wonderful their relationship is. Kennedy was brought to tears as Connor asked the pivotal question, “Will you marry me?” It was the easiest decision of her life.

November 2016

Connor and Kennedy’s paths crossed years before they first met. Kennedy spent her adolescence attending Florida State University football games with her family and friends. The last game that she attended was the Florida State University vs. University of Florida game in November of 2016. As she was tailgating prior to the game, the FSU marching band made their way past the parking lot she was in. She decided to record a video of the band as they passed. Unknown to her, Connor was in the freshman year of his time at FSU and with the Marching Chiefs. Years later, Connor and Kennedy were getting to know each other and she told him about the last FSU football game she went to. Connor recognized the section of the band and the people in the video. Kennedy had managed to take a video her future husband marching with his instrument section in the FSU Marching Chiefs 6 years before they met.

Kennedy and Connor both have a deep love for music that has only grown with the development of their relationship. They love attending shows for their favorite bands. They have managed to see 20+ bands together since they started dating. Their music taste ranges from softer sounds with the likes of The Lumineers & Melt to more heavy with bands such as Avatar & Gojira. And many, many, many artists in between.
