Hi there...My name is Kennedy Newbern and my fiance's name is Chandler Weyenberg. I first met Chandler back in the Fall of 2017 at Kennesaw State University. My sorority was having a date night at a Hawks Game in Atlanta and I did not have a date. My sorority sister decided to set me up on a blind date which so happened to be, Chandler. We had a great time together at the Hawks game but this is not where our real story would begin.

A fews year later Chandler and I would both find ourselves living in the same city and attending the same college, but this time it would be at our dream school, the University of Georgia. Some might call it a fate thing, but somehow he seemed to keep popping back up into my life. We even ended up working at the same golf course where I mistakenly walked in on him while he was sitting down for his job interview. I had to do a double take because it had been a few years since I had seen him and his hair used to be a-lot longer than it was then.

We worked together for awhile, but still nothing...until one Georgia football Saturday where I ran into him in downtown Athens. My friend and I decided to ditch the football game a little early and head down town to catch up with some more of our friends. Little did I know that my future husband would be in the same exact place that I was that night. I remember walking up to Chandler and striking up a conversation with him and it feeling like no time had ever passed at all since I had first met him.

The very next day, Chandler asked me if he could take me on a date. He took me to what is now one of my favorite restaurants in Athens, The Place, and seven days after that date we would officially begin our relationship.

Now here we are three years later and I couldn't ever imagine my life without him. I am thankful for God's faithfulness as I have prayed for Chandler my whole life and I cannot wait to be his wife!
