Q + A

What is the dress code?

Dressy Casual (Polished but relaxed): Men: Dress pants + collared shirt Women: Sundress, midi dress, skirt, pants / blouse

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

When is the RSVP deadline?

The RSVP deadline will be June 1st. This will give us time to give final numbers to our vendors so that they can prepare!

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "no". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones. However, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We have hired an amazing photographer, and she will be there to capture all the moments of the ceremony! We kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceremony portion. Feel free to take as many photos/videos once the ceremony has ended.

Is there a registry?

Yes! If you scroll to the top of our wedding website, there is a tab called "Registry".

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, all dancing (aside from the first dance, grandfather/bride dance, and mother/groom dance) will be taking place in an outdoor gazebo.

Where can I park?

There is a large free public parking lot on S Chestnut Street approximately one block north of the chapel. Please do NOT park directly in front of the historical buildings at Chestnut Square including the chapel, the Bevel House , or the Johnson House.

Will food be provided?

Charcuterie, cake, a coffee truck, and a soda bar will be provided! (no alcohol) ... as well as water, tea, and lemonade!
