106 Days To Go!

Q + A

You asked, we answered—consider this your guide to our wedding!

So, the wedding is on a Monday?

Yes! The wedding will take place on Monday, August 3rd. This will give guests the opportunity to arrive before the wedding and adjust to the time change. It will also give guests who take a week off from work plenty of time after the wedding to explore Greece or travel elsewhere.

What's the plan?

We will be staying in Athens from Saturday, August 1 through Wednesday, August 5. The wedding will be on Monday, August 3. On the wedding day, guests should begin arriving at the venue at 6:00pm local time. We kindly ask that you arrive by 6:30pm at the latest - you'll want to get some photos! The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:45pm local time. Cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception will take place immediately after.

How late will the party go?

We’ll start dancing, eating, and celebrating as the sun sets on the Riviera. The party will go until after 4:00 AM—so pace yourself and get ready for an unforgettable night!

Tell us about the food!!!

Not a question, but okay! We’ll be hosting a traditional Greek buffet featuring fresh seafood, grilled meats and gyros, a risotto stand, seasonal vegetables, salads, and classic mezze like tzatziki, dolmades, spanakopita, and dips. We are very excited for this. We will ask for dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

How do I get to the venue?

The venue is located on the Athens Riviera which is easily accessible from the city center. We are hoping to arrange a shuttle for our guests. Taxis and rideshares are also widely available (typically ranging from 15-30 euros depending on your pick-up location). We will provide detailed directions and transportation options closer to the date. See "Travel" section for more information.

What is the weather going to be like?

August on the Athens Riviera is warm and sunny. Expect daytime temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s °F (30–35 °C). Evenings by the sea are usually mild, with a light coastal breeze—perfect for dining and dancing outdoors. We recommend bringing sunscreen for the day, and a light wrap or jacket if you’d like a little extra comfort once the sun goes down. Don't forget sunglasses for the sunshine and the dance floor!

What should I wear?

The recommended dress code is beach formal. Think elegant but comfortable. Men can opt for lightweight suits or dress shirts with slacks (ties optional). Women can wear cocktail dresses, maxi dresses, breathable fabrics. If you have something you think is fun and stylish, bust it out (not you, Ken).

Is there anything before the wedding?

We are hoping to plan some optional activities on Sunday, August 2nd including a welcome party. More information to follow.

And what happens August 4th?

We don't have a plan nailed down just yet. We will stay in Greece for at least a few days after the ceremony and hope to arrange some tours or group activities for those who want to stick around! Stay tuned...

Is there a registry?

We want to be very clear: gifts are not at all expected from our guests. Your presence is the greatest gift! If you’re feeling extra generous, we’ll have registry details available, but no pressure.

Are kids allowed?

Yes, we'd love to have them! We will ask if you are bringing them when you RSVP.

What about plus-ones?

Your RSVP will indicate who is included within your party. Please enter your full name and the questionnaire will populate for all members of your party in one RSVP response. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out.

Where should I stay?

View the "Travel" tab for more information and recommendations. We will be staying in the Thiseio area (see travel tab, accommodations section).

What if I still have questions?
