Our Wedding

Oscar and I met during winter break of my freshman (his sophomore) year at Clemson. His brother and my sister were friends before we even knew of each other. Carlos sent Melissa a video of Oscar dancing. I immediately asked “Oooh, who’s that?!” and Melissa told me that it was her friend’s brother who also went to Clemson. This was enough for me to want to know more about him, so by the following week, we were talking and getting to know each other. After a few dates in Greenwood, we went back to Clemson for the semester and he introduced me to his friends, who before that, thought I wasn’t a real person (but that’s a story for another day!). We all bonded over donuts and the rest is history ;) After Clemson, we moved to Lexington. Oscar started a new job in downtown Columbia as a civil engineer, and I started the first semester of my genetic counseling program. Shortly after, we got our sweet chocolate pup, Hart. A year later, we bought our first house. A few months in, we decided Hart needed a pal, and Rio came along. Our days are full of adventures with them and each other! And Carlos and Melissa will never let us forget that it’s all thanks to them.&nbsp;
