New York City is a short train ride from Northern New Jersey via NJ Transit. Kenzie and Ben recommend driving to Secaucus Junction (County Ave, Secaucus, NJ) and taking the train to New York Penn Station. From Penn Station you are a short walk or subway ride to Upper and Lower Manhattan.
We recommend checking out a show on Broadway, visiting the Empire State Building, visiting the One World Trade, or if you're really up for an adventure, we recommend taking the Subway to Brooklyn, NY to visit Other Half Brewing in Carroll Gardens.
Parking at Secaucus: $14-35
Train Ticket to NY Penn: $4.25 One Way
Subway Fares: $2.75
