Our story started in October 2022 on Hinge, when we swiped right and found something pretty special in each other. For our first date, we grabbed burgers at Pangaea ( best burger we have ever eaten0 and followed it up with Gunther’s Ice Cream—let’s just say this became a staple for us. We spent hours chatting, bonding over everything from a love of adventure to our mutual appreciation for a good pair of boots.

By January 27, 2023, we were in Alaska under the northern lights, which honestly felt like the universe giving us a nod. That night, we officially became a couple, marking the moment with a view we’ll never forget.

Fast forward to December , and we were at Dollywood, once again surrounded by twinkling lights. This time, Charlie had a surprise in store—on one knee, proposing in front of the northern lights exhibit. It was like something out of a storybook, with my family present and being able to celebrate with us, and a caricature artist who captured our goofy smiles perfectly.

From our burger-and-ice-cream beginnings to an unforgettable engagement, our journey has been filled with laughter, love, and moments we’ll always cherish. We’re excited to see what the next chapter holds!
