Eli and Kenzie had been in each others lives since 2017 and little did they know that 5 years down the road they would be perfect for each other. Last April, Eli’s friend Ty told him to reach out to a girl from Gum Springs Baptist Church in Tennessee and so he gave it a chance that night. The two talked on the phone every day for two weeks until they “officially met” the first week of May at Gum Springs Revival. The two played basketball that Wednesday night and rode around, talking for a couple hours afterwards. That night she thought it was a little awkward and she really questioned if it would truly even work out being a 3 hour drive to each other. So the two agreed to be just friends… Two weeks passed and she couldn’t get him off her mind and one day he posted a video on Instagram of him singing “Goodness of God” she texted him that it was really good. The following week, which was the first week of June, he came back to town for a tent meeting and the two hung out every single day that week from spending Memorial Day at the river, to going golfing, and lunch dates at strikers. The two were inseparable ever since. Eleven months later the two are starting the rest of their lives together.
