Ian and I first crossed paths in February 2016 at a college party during our freshman year. My friend pushed me into him, and we officially met with a handshake. But that was it—we didn’t exchange numbers or see each other again until May 2016.

The following fall, during our sophomore year, we reconnected at a Halloween party; the rest is history!

Flash forward seven years to August 31, 2024, Ian brought our story full circle in Bellingham, WA, where it all began. At Larrabee State Park—a place we cherished during college—he asked me to marry him, and of course, I said yes!
