We are so excited to join you at the heart of Texas! One of the many reasons we picked Austin as our wedding destination is because we know it has something for everyone. Whether you're a city enthusiast, a nature lover, a foodie, or a music aficionado, Austin offers a diverse range of experiences.
For those who thrive in the urban hustle and bustle, Austin, the 'Live Music Capital of the World,' will be your playground. Discover world-class dining, live music venues, and a thriving arts scene in this vibrant city. Stroll along the historic streets of the 6th Street entertainment district, visit the state capitol, or unwind by Lady Bird Lake for a taste of city life.
If you're seeking a closer connection with nature, the scenic Hill Country, lake Travis and the charming Fredericksburg offer a serene escape. Explore rolling vineyards and wineries, hike the picturesque trails of the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, or simply relax amidst the idyllic landscapes. Hill Country's unique blend of rugged terrain and natural beauty is an outdoor enthusiast's dream.
How many cities can boast a three-acre, spring fed pool right in the center of town? Austin can, with the famous Barton Springs Pool. Fed by four bubbling springs, this natural wonder maintains a brisk 68-70° year ‘round. Surrounded by grassy embankments, visitors to the pool can lounge in the shade of mature pecans, or find a sunny spot to sunbathe.
With over 800,000 annual visitors, the pool is a beloved part of the fabric of Austin, attracting everyone from children to college students to grandparents looking for an early morning swim.
Mount Bonnell, also known as Covert Park, is a prominent point alongside the Lake Austin portion of the Colorado River in Austin, Texas. It has been a popular tourist destination since the 1850s. The mount provides a vista for viewing the city of Austin, Lake Austin, and the surrounding hills.

WHAT MAKES IT GREAT
All 10 miles of trail are well-maintained year round, with amenities and stopping points along the way. You’ll find water fountains for both people and pups, foot showers, restroom facilities, shady groves, boat launches, and a pedestrian- and cyclist-only bridge that connects the trail over top of Lady Bird Lake. If you take on the entire 10 miles of trail, all of which are beautiful and well kept, you’ll pay homage to the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan by way of a commemorative statue at Auditorium Shores, cycle through the Austin American-Statesman’s Bat Observation Center (and if you time your ride to be there around sunset between spring and fall, you’ll get a glimpse of the U.S.’s largest urban bat population take flight), or take a breather at Festival Beach.
