The picture that started it all. Keri was a bridesmaid, Brian was a groomsmen, and we were celebrating the Conboy's MiniMony. The story goes, Brian was hitting on Keri all night, but she had no idea. After the third or fourth attempt, Brian found his in. The bridal party wanted a photo, so Brian offered to take it, then asked Keri for her number to send it. At the end of a very eventful weekend, Brian flew back to LA and that was the end right? Until there was a covid scare with a wedding guest, and Brian called Keri to see if she was okay. Glad he got her number! That phone call led to lots of other phone calls, and texts, and the decision to book a few extra days in Atlanta on his way home from visiting his family for Thanksgiving.

Brian scheduled another few extra days after Christmas with his family, so we could celebrate New Years together. We had The Talk; we're officially a couple, and the Keschingers wanted proof Keri was real. Our first picture together! Those few extra days turned into much longer when covid got way worse in LA and we decided it wasn't really safe or wise for him to go back. Who knew the answer to 'What are we?' was going to be 'living together' ?!

We got our COVID vaccines! A very emotional experience, because it also meant Brian's impromptu 4-month stay in Atlanta was coming to an end, and it was safe(ish) for him to go back to LA. Guess it's time to give long-distance a go. At least Brian got back access to the rest of his clothes.

Keri went to visit Brian in LA. We went to Malibu, Venice Beach, Huntington Beach, saw the Hollywood sign, and ate at Sur (the goat cheese balls live up to the hype....IYKYK). In between all the touristy things, we had The Talk 2.0. This thing was the real deal, and somebody was gonna have to move. Brian drew the short straw. Just kidding! It was an easy choice...so long as his job was on board.

Brian surprised Keri with a staycation to celebrate the news - Respawn officially approved his remote work request. He can move to Atlanta!

Brian officially lives in ATL! To celebrate we went to a Braves game. They played the Mets, so at least he had someone to cheer against.

Brian's favorite date we ever had was when we played tennis for the first time. Keri never expected it to be so impactful, she was mostly just worried about being overly sweaty in front of him. Who knew that would spark a new hobby (read: obsession) for Brian, and he'd join Keri's Mixed Team? He's now an integral part of the team cinching us the City Championship when he won his match.

After a very stressful few days that involved Brian getting robbed, the engagement ring and all the proposal supplies getting stolen, replanning the whole thing while on a work trip, and finding a stand-in ring, Brian proposed in the most perfect way, in the most perfect place. There were Friends references, rose gold balloons, lots of roses, twinkly lights, tacos and the most beautiful landscape. He nailed it.

As soon as we got home from our engagement trip in Seattle, we closed on our first home. Yeah...it was a busy Fall.

Our family grew by 4 furry paws! Mango "PuppyDog" Keschinger officially joined the crew.
