Some love stories begin with grand gestures, but ours started in 10th-grade math class—seated alphabetically and completely unaware that we would be getting married a decade later. With Keri needing most of the help (and Dalton happily providing it), we quickly became friends—until we got separated for talking too much! Life took us in different directions for a while, and it wasn’t until senior year that we crossed paths again in our school’s broadcasting class.

What started as working on projects together turned into something more when we became the voices behind Tuesday Talks, our high school music podcast. To our surprise, it even won a tiny (but very important!) award in a Georgia competition. From co-hosts to President and Vice President of our broadcasting club, our friendship deepened, leading to prom “as friends” and countless hours spent together. But deep down, we both knew—this was something special.

Then came one fateful day at Moe’s, when with a little push from Dalton’s mom (“You're in love with her, you need to ask her out”), we finally confessed our feelings. And just like that, our journey as a couple officially began.

Through college, first apartments (a little questionable, but ours nonetheless), career changes, and life’s many twists, we built a life together—one full of laughter, support, and unwavering love. Our biggest adventure yet brought us to Tifton, GA, where we found new opportunities, incredible friends, and a place to truly grow together.

Through every challenge, every small, mundane moment, and every triumph, we’ve learned that love isn’t just in the grand gestures—it’s in choosing each other, every single day. For us, this is the perfect example of marrying your best friend, and we can’t wait for this next chapter.
