WELCOME PARTY

Boston Tea Party Ships &amp; Museum There will not be a shuttle to the welcome party. The Boston Tea Party Museum is a ~5-minute walk from the InterContinental and Boston Harbor Hotel, and is accessible via Lyft/Uber, water taxi, and public transit (~5-minute walk from South Station). For our guests who may need to drive to the welcome party, please note that there is no designated on-site parking at the Boston Tea Party Museum. However, there are several public parking garages within walking distance. We recommend using <a href="https://spothero.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">SpotHero</a> (website or mobile app) to find and reserve spots in advance.

CEREMONY & RECEPTION

Oceanview of Nahant Shuttles to Oceanview will leave from the main entrance of the InterContinental promptly at 4:00 PM and 4:15 PM on Saturday. Return shuttles to the InterContinental will leave Oceanview promptly at 9:00 PM, 11:15 PM, and 12:15 AM. Oceanview has a spacious onsite parking lot for guests who may need to drive. If you plan to drink throughout the evening, we kindly ask that you use the shuttle available to all guests.

Event Transportation

A quick note for those who have never been to Boston:

Thinking about using a car to get around? Bold choice. Between missing street signs, one-way streets that aren't really one-way, intersections that turn into gladiator arenas, and locals who think that blinkers are optional, driving in Boston is an adventure best left to the professionals (or those with nothing to lose). Save yourself the stress (and your GPS's dignity) and consider using Lyft/Uber, taking public transit, or walking to your destination. Trust us - your sanity will thank you.

Getting Around Boston

Boston is very easy to navigate as soon as you abandon your car. Lyft and Uber have a very strong presence here, and public transit ("the T") makes almost every destination reachable. Walking is also a great option - many neighborhoods and attractions are very close to each other!

SHUTTLES

We have arranged shuttle transportation between the InterContinental and the venue on the day of the wedding. All guests are welcome to use the shuttle.

Boston Water Taxi

In addition to Lyft, Uber, and taxis, there is a water taxi that can bring you from the airport to downtown Boston. It picks up at the Hyatt Regency docks (next to the airport) and ferries you to one of several dropoff locations within the Boston Harbor, including the InterContinental Hotel, the Boston Harbor Hotel, and the welcome party location. It works just like a regular taxi - just call or make a reservation online to schedule your pickup, and tell them where you want to go! Guests are welcome to stay wherever they’d like, but we have blocks at 2 hotels listed below! We also highly recommend exploring Airbnb and VRBO listings.
