How we met

If you knew me when I first met Chris, I'm sure you can remember how smitten I was by him. It was spring of 2011, I had been working part-time at Amada for awhile, and Chris started managing at&nbsp;Amada and boom - instant crush. Not a little crush either. A&nbsp;big, butterflies, heart skipped a beat kind of crush. Not being able to hide my feelings, a&nbsp;majority of my coworkers knew the love bug bit me hard, and did everything&nbsp;they could so I could squeeze in extra time with Chris at work. A few months later, the Amada crew put together a summer rooftop party. Chris claimed he wasn't going to come&nbsp;but luckily we managed to&nbsp;convince&nbsp;him. And, by the end of the night,&nbsp;I convinced him for a kiss.After that night, my crush continued to grow, and fortunately Chris turned a corner and we began dating a few months later. As they say, the rest is history.&nbsp;

How We Met: According to the Bride

I like to think that I move and make decisions in a methodical and systematic nature – insert jokes here.&nbsp; My Mother told me that I was sleeping when I came out of her womb and that the doctor had to tap me in the face a couple of times to wake up and take in the world!&nbsp; Kerri will tell you that not much has changed, but I firmly believe that we all have a path that we are destined to take.&nbsp;Let’s fast forward to the restaurant that would forever change my life – Amada. &nbsp;&nbsp;I came back to Amada in the spring of 2011,&nbsp; and it happened to be by dumb luck that Kerri obtained employment at Amada.&nbsp; She randomly decided to answer a craigslist job ad and almost missed the call to come in for an interview.&nbsp; With that said, Kerri joined the team at Amada and turned into a rockstar employee for the group.&nbsp; I’ll always remember how warmly she greeted and treated our guests.&nbsp; There were many shifts that I would secretly position myself to work the door because I knew that Kerri was going to be working alongside of me.&nbsp; I’m not sure she ever caught onto this, but this was my way of inching my way into her circle.&nbsp; I also enlisted Kerri’s help putting together some notes/materials for a course I was taking through Cornell at the time.&nbsp; I passed the course, but at the time had wished that it could be extended to continue having that time with her.&nbsp; She was a task master and her willingness to please and help me started to get me thinking, maybe she deserves a promotion!&nbsp; Just kidding.&nbsp; She was warm, sweet and drop dead gorgeous.&nbsp;Our friends decided to host a summer fling and convinced me to stop by.&nbsp; I remember asking our friend Chris Mann if he thought I should go and if Kerri would be there.&nbsp; Chris was my mole.&nbsp; He dated one of Kerri’s friends at the time, and said I would be stupid if I didn’t go.&nbsp; I closed the restaurant early that night and joined the party.&nbsp; After sharing some laughs and libations together, Kerri had agreed to join me in Chinatown for some late night eats. We jumped in a cab, ended the night with a kiss and that was the start of what has been an amazing journey together.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Reading Terminal Market is a historic market in Philadelphia which holds a number of memories while we were living in the city. The market is a great place to walk around and experience all of the different vendors. Our favorites are&nbsp;DiNic's (Roast Pork with Broccoli Rabe and Provolone), Hershel's East Side Deli, Metropolitan Bakery and Bassetts Ice Cream. You can't go wrong at Reading Terminal!&nbsp;
