Kerrigan moved to Fenton MI in the Summer of 2021 and thought to herself, why the hell not and joined the dating app Tinder. A few dates (or Free dinner as she liked to call it) couldnt hurt. Joseph, on the other hand, was swiping and searching for The One. Whether it was fate or divine intervention, the two were lucky enough to come across each others feed. Neither of them could have possibly known what was coming when they both swiped right. After a little bit of talking and getting to know the basics, Joseph made an interesting observation. “Hey, Ive never seen this before, but it says you are less than a mile away. Do you live in Fenton?”At that moment when the message came through on Kerrigans phone, she had only one thought in mind... ghost him. So, she tried. After lying and canceling the original date plans, Kerrigan was sure she was safe from the creepy guy online. But, as everyone already knows, that is not where this story ends. Joseph, ever so persistent, sent that double text that resulted in Kerrigan giving in to getting her free dinner. It was official. Lunch at The Rough Draught was set up for August 3rd, 2021. The two met up in the parking lot, both very nervous for what was coming. After the few first words that came out of Josephs mouth, Kerrigan knew this wasnt some axe killer from the internet, cause what kind of serial killer has such a cute little lisp? So, the date continued according to plan. Both parties had their fair share of nervous rambling and maybe even a bit of oversharing which must have made a great impression. Due to this, Joseph moved one thing to the top of his to-do list: delete Tinder. The same night of the date, the account was deactivated and the app was deleted. So what does Joseph do just three days after their very first date? Only one thing made sense in his mind, ask Kerrigan to be his girlfriend. So that is where this Love Story starts. From that first date, Joseph and Kerrigan never spent more than a week apart. Now, they are excited to start their new life together as Husband and Wife and have so many new stories to add to their book.
