We first began as friends while we were both in high school. However, it wasn't until we met back up four years later that our love story began.

For our very first date, we went to the range of Ballantyne and had asked other friends to come with us. Austin had just moved back to the area and wanted to hang out with some of his old friends. However, all of the other people who were invited ended up canceling last minute leaving us alone at the shooting range.

While we may have been the only ones there, we sure made the best out of the occasion. We instantly hit it off and ended up going to dinner together afterward. From that moment on we spent almost every day going out together or talking on the phone.

We then took a few trips to Nashville and had a Boot Scootin' good time. Where we ended up leaving Nashville with a few too many boots, but countless memories made.

A few months later Austin began working towards becoming a Police Officer while Kerry was working to finish her Masters Degree at UNCC before also becoming a Police Officer. Austin then left for the police academy around August of 2023, and Kerry went to the Police academy in December of 2023.

During this time, we ended up adopting a gray tabby cat which we named Bean, who both of us adored. A few months later we decided that Bean "needed" a sibling and adopted a black cat which we named Azriel. Both cats got along incredibly well and have been one of our greatest joys.

After being Police Officers for around a year, we decided that we wanted to have a place to call our own and began looking for houses. We wanted somewhere that had land so that we could have our own little Homestead in the country and a small house for our future family.

After a few weeks of looking, we found the perfect place for us. We worked tirelessly to ensure everything would go smoothly and got to ring in the new year with a house of our own!

A short while later Austin proposed on our property! We now are so very excited to grow together and blossom in this life we are creating!
